Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

It's true. If you think MySpace has weird people (bad weird, not good weird), look here. People here are OBSESSED with anthropomorphic things. It's really unnerving. "Why do you go on this site, then?" you're wondering, right? Well, it's just the place I upload pictures. It's not like I dabble in the community. But even then, when 8/10 of the DeviantART frontpage is softcore furry porn, it's not hard to miss. I always throw up a little bit in my mouth when I enter the frontpage.
